MY BACKGROUND

I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree from SMSU (Southwest Minnesota State University) in 2017. I then went on to get my Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from MSU (Minnesota State University, Mankato) in 2019. I finished my formal schooling while attending Winona State University for my education in addictions counseling in 2020. I love learning and continue my learning through classes, books, and podcasts.
I have spent time working at Minnesota State University, Mankato Counseling Center and in a community mental health settings.
In 2021 I opened my own private practice. It has been a great fit that allows me to do the most good for my clients. I have always had a passion for providing services in underserved and rural communities.
Outside of my work I enjoy taking my dog Charlie paddle boarding and swimming. I am happy caring for all my house plants, wild flowers, and my summer garden. I also spend time doing needlework, mostly dinosaur themed cross stich.
